    Dr. Nadine Byrd is a passionate advocate for community development, social impact, and personal transformation. With a strong educational background and a commitment to helping individuals rebuild their lives, she has dedicated her career to empowering those affected by addiction, domestic violence, and the challenges of reentry after incarceration.

    Education

    Dr. Byrd's academic achievements reflect her deep understanding of social issues and her dedication to creating meaningful change. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Community and International Economic Development from Beulah Heights University, equipping her with expertise in community growth and global economics. She furthered her education with a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University, gaining valuable insights into substance abuse and its societal impact.

    Her commitment to holistic healing led her to pursue a Doctorate in Theology from Harvest Reapers International Bible Institute, enabling her to integrate spiritual and ethical principles into her approach to community transformation.

    Dr. Byrd is the CEO and Founder of Destiny 4U Counseling & Training in Albany, GA, where she leads programs designed to support individuals in crisis and those seeking a fresh start. Her organization provides:

    As the office manager, I'm here to ensure that each member of our team is equipped with the knowledge and resources they need to thrive in our business atmosphere. Whether it's guiding you on how to conduct yourself professionally or helping you understand our dress code expectations, my goal is to support your success from day one. work closely with Eckerd Connects/Workforce Development to empower individuals to reclaim their lives and foster a renewed sense of purpose. Through our training programs and counseling services, we strive to provide the tools and support necessary for personal and professional growth.

     In addition to my role as office manager, I'm also a certified domestic violence facilitator here at Destiny4U Counseling and Training. Through group counseling sessions, my aim is to guide individuals in taking accountability for their actions, while also providing them with a fresh perspective on relationships and addressing childhood trauma.  provide a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their experiences and work towards healing and growth. By addressing the root causes of violence and trauma, we empower individuals to break free from destructive patterns and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

    As a dedicated Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) professional, I offer comprehensive support to individuals and families in need. My services encompass:

    • Client Assistance: Whether through Zoom, telephone, or in-person meetings, I assist clients in accessing the services they require.

    • Engagement in Beneficial Activities: I actively engage clients in activities that promote their well-being and personal growth.

    • Assessment and Evaluation: I conduct thorough assessments and gather relevant information for family Intervention Violence Training (FVIP) evaluation and Anger Management evaluation.

    • Training and Support: I provide assistance with FVIP Training and Anger Management, guiding clients towards positive behavioral changes.

    • Information and Support: Offering valuable information and unwavering support to clients and their families as they navigate challenges.

    • Referrals and Coordination: I establish connections with other agencies and services, ensuring clients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

    • Crisis Intervention: Providing crisis intervention services through referrals to organizations such as Liberty House, Open Arms, Aspire, and other agencies.

    • Community Involvement: Attending meetings and training under the GA Commission on Family Violence, contributing to initiatives amid at addressing and preventing family violence.
